Does the heater have problems with water leakage or, as I already mentioned a whiff of a smell of gas when it is installed in the house? Thank you.

If it is properly installed, there is no smell or odor. so that a leak is not the same concerns as the regular tank heater. However, tankless licked much less likely, because there is no tank to rust. I've never been a leak, but possible. You may have installed tankless to close the valve if it would leak, only a small amount of leachate, with the safety devices before they are automatically closed.

If the system is properly installed, you do not even need to know that it there.

Listen to find a trustworthy installer, and not be afraid to ask for references.

When you turn on the gas smell is lost. Watch a gas stove. The flame has no odor.
